Coral Scott

Originally from Vancouver, British Columbia, Coral moved to the Midwest 13 years ago. She currently resides in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Coral has two passions: connecting non-profits with the resources needed to move their mission into action, and grant writing.  In 2016, after 10 years of working on in-house development teams, Coral launched Grant Writer Etc.  She has consulted on over 36 million dollars of foundation, corporate, state, and federal grants for non-profits throughout the United States and Canada, and has won grants throughout North America and Europe.  She has worked with organizations of all sizes and prides herself on providing the same level of service and attention to every organization she serves, no matter their size or budget.  Her previous roles have included serving as a Development Director, Manager of Communications & Development, and an in-house Grant Writer, for non-profits in Cincinnati, Ohio and Vancouver, British Columbia.

In 2019, Coral has partnered with some of the nonprofit industry’s leading voices in Amazon’s #1 Best Seller 101 Biggest Mistakes Nonprofits Make and How You Can Avoid Them. In addition to outlining some of the biggest mistakes organizations make while grant-seeking, she also provides tips and tricks on how to avoid them.

Coral is a member of Grant Professionals Association and Association of Fundraising Professionals and was the 2018 Chamberlain Scholar for the Association of Fundraising Professionals Greater Cincinnati Chapter.

Andrea Behan

Andrea has dedicated her career to cultural heritage research and conservation. She is a skilled researcher who has held positions in archival research, resource management, and public administration.

Andrea holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia and a Master of Letters in Material Culture and Artifact Studies, from the University of Glasgow.

She currently resides on Ottawa, with her two cats Ramses and Horus, where she is currently completing her first novel.

Edlín Maldonado-Fuller

For over a decade, Edlín has been dedicated to improving the health of communities throughout South and Central Texas. She has worked with children in the foster care system, as a crisis counselor, and in health education and outreach for community health centers.

She transitioned to philanthropy at Methodist Healthcare Ministries of South Texas, where she supported a collective impact initiative focused on preventing diabetes in the Rio Grande Valley. With Health Resources in Action, Inc., she served as an evaluation project manager and supported Spanish language data collection efforts and qualitative analysis. Most recently, Edlín served as a Senior Fellow with Interact for Health, in Cincinnati.

In addition to raising over $3.8 million in grant-funding, Edlín holds a Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of Texas at Austin, and has also earned two graduate degrees from St. Mary’s University – Master of Arts in International Relations and a Master of Business Administration.
